Alisha Bazemore, Ed.D., is the Assistant Director of Innovative Work-Based Learning Initiatives for the Virginia Talent + Opportunity Partnership (V-TOP) at the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia (SCHEV). She previously served as Director of Career Services and Assistant Vice President of Operations at Norfolk State University. Alisha has led multi-million-dollar workforce training programs in Virginia and Maryland, helping thousands of job seekers secure employment. An active member of the Virginia Association of Colleges and Employers (VACE), Southern Association of Colleges and Employers (SoACE), and the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE), she is committed to expanding internships and work-based learning across the Commonwealth
